RS1F - Blocking Filter
This particular product was designed by DFE Technical Services for Redskye Technology Ltd.
The RS1F allows the safe connection of a cable fault locating instrument to a live mains cable, blocking AC mains voltages and frequencies, but allowing the narrow low voltage pulse of the instrument to pass unhindered into the cable under test. (Please note that orders for the RS1F should be placed with Redskye Technology Ltd).

 This is a 3D artistic visualization of an existing product, undertaken for MouseBean Ltd for promotional purposes.
Created using 3D Studio Max, once modeled this gives the customer endless possibilities, both of setting and of materials (real or imaginary), used to construct a virtual view of the product.

 This product is currently under development by DFE Technical Services for Redskye Technology Ltd.
As with the RS1F Blocking Filter (above), the entire design, electronic, electrical, and mechanical, from concept to final product was undertaken by DFE Technical Services.
As you can see from the illustrations, we have constructed a space filling model to aid decision on placement of the components within the case as well as giving a proposed finished view of the completed product, using the tools of 3D Studio Max. We have altered the transparency of materials being adjusted for the various views required.
Modelling the product in this way allowed us to check clearances when closing the lid (of the virtual model) BEFORE the prototype was created, which allowed us to make essential adjustments very early on in the design process without any wasted time or materials.
